Join Dyson and the James Dyson Foundation on March 10 from 12 pm to 1 pm CST to learn more about their design engineering competition, the James Dyson Award, which is open to university students and recent graduates.
During the virtual session, Dyson engineer and past James Dyson Award judge Kate Craft will provide an insider perspective on Dyson’s engineering principles and the judging criteria used for student and graduate projects. Attendees will also hear from McMaster University Mechanical Engineering Associate Professor Dr. Elizabeth Hassan, who will share her experience with the award and offer tools to help engage students entering the free competition. Following the 30-minute presentation, presenters will answer questions from educators and faculty.
